I got "Spirits in the Wires" for Christmas last year, and I read a few chapters, then I stopped. I have to pick it up again at some point and read it through, but the beginning just seemed so... heavy and introspective, but in a bit of a cheesy way :-( Like when you read those goth poems that are just *too* depressed and pathetic to be serious?
