Timble just pulled off a coup d'état, Jack is being sought by the police for a string of murders, Emma's dead husband and daughter have come back, Old Man Lobo's rekindled his affair with Rhyania, and Kelly and Mora are about to engaged in a contest of wills to see who gets to control the body they're both living in.

Things are moving on the writing again, which makes me a happy person. Yes, a happy person indeed.

I took the math placement test on Wednesday. I'm glad it's over and done with. Now I can stop obsessing about it and get on with my life. The short stories continue to line up. I wrote some outlines today, and may start working on them tomorrow so they'll get written and leave me alone. I also realized that I sent out a whole boat load of submissions about three months ago, so I'm expecting a whole boat load of answers to start showing up at my door and in my email over the next few weeks.

Other news? I talked to Oldest Son this week. The granddaughter is crawling and getting into everything. I need to pester my son for pictures.

And today was the day the city decided to flush out the fire hydrants. I know this because there is a fire hydrant in front of my house. But I really know this because they decided to flush out the hydrant just as I was getting into the shower. I suddenly went from good water pressure to little more than spit. Grr.

That's all for today. I'm sure I meant to talk about something, but I can't for the life of me remember what.

In Peace
