Stupid cat. For a moment last night I thought she was dead. I walked past the hassack, and there she was, laying on her side, her eyes glazed over and staring off into space. I stopped and waved my hand in front of her. No change. So I started to reach down and touch her, when suddenly she blinks and gives me this real confused look. I think she astral projected to the Moste Sekrit Katt Dimension of Doom! to file reports on her humans.
Busy day today. I made arrangements to get a fridge in the hotel room at World Fantasy Con, because we are going to be out there for five nights. Submitted my finacial aid stuff to the University: I was approved for the tuition waiver. House cleaning, much house cleaning. I need to mow the lawn tomorrow.
Sent a stripped down version of Jenny's Magic to Beyond Centauri and heard from the editor being at Sorcery and Science. They want Darkly Through The Light Waters, a story I pulled from the trunk and flung out the door on a lark.
This makes me happy.
Tomorrow night I get to maul and maim my friend's characters in our once-every-three-weeks RPG session. Oh, wait, I meant to say I plan on running a fun and enjoyable session filled with the wonder and joy of collective storytelling. Yeah. I see Dragons in their future; lots and lots of Dragons.
In Peace
Michael
