I have put off working on the novel for now. Instead I am concentrating on another Rija story, since the editor beings at Gryphonwood expressed an interest in buying another Rija tale sometime in the not-so-distant future. If someone is interested in what I'm doing, and they can pay me and publish me, then I'm inclined to take the time to give them what they want. I started the story a few nights ago. careswen (who is playing a big part in the concept and design of this story) said it starts too slow. I trust her judgement in these matters. I think I've fixed the problem.
I never did post my October Stats and here we are almost to the end of November.
October Stats:
Sales: 1
Rejections: 2
Words: 11,950
Crits: 4
Still not a lot of words, but University is taking up a lot of my time. November looks better for word count and crits.
I plan to work hard on the novel rewrite over break, so word counts in December and January will probably be low.
