Slopping the Hogs
Feb. 1st, 2007 11:36 amStill slogging through the Phantom Streetcar Novel, chapter by chapter, scene by scene, and taking notes about what I need to try and repair during the rewrite.
Slog, slog, slog.
This is probably the hardest part of the process for me. I should go back to Old Blood's Fate and do this at some point, now that I have a better idea of what to watch out for.
In the meantime, I will continue to trudge along, secure in the knowledge that when I do sell this novel, I'll get to do this again! Only this time it will be at an editor's direction and I'll be getting paid.
I did not sleep well last night (again). I'm tired and moody (which is tiring. I'm trying to shake it off before
careswen gets home). I'm feeling inadequate as a writer and as a human being (which is also tiring).
You know, if my brain isn’t going to properly do the job it's suppose to do, then I wish it would just SHUT THE HELL UP so I can get on with the business at hand.
Slog, slog, slog.
