We managed to that a little last year when we stayed in the north (short) tower of the hotel.
I asked for the north tower again this year, citing the fact that I have a hard time getting on the elevators in the south tower (which are always crowded, typically broken down by mid-Saturday, and involve everyone fighting to get a place) due to, you know, being visually impaired. I added that I'm on a lot of programming, and being in the short tower (where programming is) makes it easier.
This year, because of the extra Guests of Honor, they ran out of room in the north tower. The first time I have to climb 8 flights of stairs because the elevators broke, I'm going to get cranky.
