My stuff always starts in a word document. I'll need to back-up my wife's journal, though.
I'd say we're safe for the immediate future. That they are still supporting the site is a good thing. Insanejournal would be my next place to land, if things go wrong here. Also, down in the comment thread, stillnotbored has some better information.
