I have an *awesome* epic high fantasy coming-of-age/heir-to-the-throne story. I guess it's dark enough--the kid has his eye pecked out on a battlefield right in the beginning....

But I submitted it to WotF, so I guess I can't send it elsewhere for lo the next many moons.

And it's like 5,000 words too long.

...Alas.
