Monster-Hunting Barista Story Update

27,300 words total. Three or four more scenes to write. Looks to be about 34K at the end. It will be a tough sell at that size, but it is what it is. I'm having fun writing it. Everything has gone to pieces for everyone involved, whether protagonist or antagonist. The body count is starting to rise, and I know there will be at least two more deaths before the end. And possibly an explosion.

I'm surprised I still don't have a title. I usually get those pretty early in the process.

I've been following your posts on this story. It has grown by leaps and bounds and I find that fascinating. Process always fascinates me. This story became something much more than you had originally planned. You need to blog about what that was like when you are done with the story. I would be interested in reading about your reaction to it and how (maybe) you had to adapt (or not) as the story grew beyond your expectations.
