Batting .500 So Far For The Month Of December

A very nice rejection from Abyss & Apex on my flash piece, "A Glint Through Smoke and Flame." Apparently they all enjoyed it, but couldn't slot it into either of the next two issues.

This is counter balanced by selling "Jenny's Magic," an Urban Fantasy for children, to Beyond Centauri for their July 2006 issue.

I really didn't think I'd be able to sell that piece. The markets for it were so few and far between. I was wrong and I'm thrilled.

I've got a two pieces that I'm hoping to find a market for, which is turning out to be very difficult.

Thanks for the congrats! You know, the stories I have had the hardest time finding markets for are the ones I'm selling right now. Go figure.
