I'm beginning to think what I need is two or three dedicated readers who I exchange crits with, as opposed to a "crit-as-you-go" group. I know writers who have worked in the type of group the Scribblies are, and I know writers who work with two or three dedicated alpha/beta readers. I think this might be a matter of style and needs. Thank you for chiming in, your insight is always valuable!
