A question for my locals: Where in the Twin Cities can you rent a rowboat? Not a canoe, not a little paddleboat thingy, but a real honest to goodness rowboat on a lake?

Both the Ghost in the Cathode Ray Tubes story and the Little Red Riding Hood in Space (with Zombies) story have stalled out. I'm hoping this just means I need to recharge a bit, because sometimes I have trouble stepping away from a stalled piece in order to start something else.

I woke up this morning with a migraine that seemed resistant to the normal drugs. I spent the bulk of the day with the window shades down, and away from the computer. I'm still feeling a bit of a headache, so I won't be online much longer.

We talked to a real estate agent today, a guy who works only with buyers. It went well, but we are still waiting to hear back from the loan officers. Apparently he was working on our numbers and his laptop died.

Finally, June was good to me as a writer. Very good indeed.
