So Much for Staring at the Wall

980 words on Steadfast yesterday, plus read and made notes on the first one-third of the YA novel I'm beta-reading for a friend. Today I've worked on edits and rewrites for my story in Shiny Issue 4, sent off an email concerning a possible project, and responded to a hold request from a magazine. After lunch I need to read another third of the YA novel.

I didn't think I would have any brains left to work on writing projects after completing Dark Water Blues, but I find myself happily charging into other projects while the novel simmers.
