Tiny Lobsters 4 - Merriams 0

I have verified that the two tiny plastic lobsters found roaming loose in Merriam Manor were not the two previously captured tiny lobsters, but in fact two entirely new tiny plastic lobsters. I will discover who is leaving tiny plastic lobsters hidden in my home, and I will get you. Yes, I will.

Twin Cities Speculative Fiction Writers Network meeting at the Uptown Lund's community room. About 17 people came to the meeting, including Bruce Bethke. It's always good to have Bruce to talk to. We talked about the approaching con season, especially Minicon, and the proposed anthology project.

We need someone in the group to step up and be the lead person on this project. We have plenty of volunteers for other positions, including me as part of the editing team, but we need an over-all person to coordinate the effort. I would like to get this project going.

Jason Wittman brought his proofs from the Baen's Best of Anthology for us to look at.

I didn't stay for the workshop part. I felt like I didn't really get to talk to anyone, despite the fact that I seemed to be the person most on the ball (or at least flapping my gums the most) concerning the anthology project. I would have like to have had a few minutes just to chat with some people and it didn't happen. Such is life.

Wrote about 350 words on one of the last short fiction projects.

Came home, ate, poked at the intarwebs, watched an episode of "Lost" and here we are. O! The Rock-n-Roll Lifestyle.

I'm going to get another cup of tea and try to get some work in.
