Bad Writing Day, But Good Day In General

I wrote a whole 18 words today. I'm in the middle of the novel, and introducing a rather large plot twist. I feel like I'm flailing and floundering, but I remember having this feeling in the other two novels I've written, so I know that if I stay on target and keep moving forward, this too shall pass.

That said, it’s been a brilliant day otherwise, spent hanging out with careswen and pretty much doing whatever we want. There has been reading, and watching a little TV, and sitting outside, and listening to music, and talking, and all of it low-keyed and restful. And of course, there has been leftover pie.

I take the approach that any words a good words, even if I know I'm going to need to revise them later.
