I'm quite pleased with the word count, especially after finishing a novel last month, as I fully expected to be in a down cycle. Instead, I finished (in first draft) a novella, a novelette, and a short story this month. Now, I'm off to clean house and finish the alpha read of a friend's novel.

I know. I hated missing that deadline. She and I are alot alike though. We WORK through stuff. It helps us cope. We were so funny. We were both worried about month end at our jobs. We both work in accounting. You can control work when you can't control the rest of the chaos. It kind of helps you deal and not just sink in the mire of the overwhelming whatever that is in front of you. You are kind. I thank you.
