Woooo! I like the new title.
Thanks. This new version is much longer than the one you saw on the workshop. I added interstellar politics, a suprise pregnancy, a gun-battle in a cramped apartment, and a confrontation in space to the story, then tossed in a little redemption and forgiveness to round it all out.

Nice one, Mike! And a novelette too, which are so much trickier to place than shorter works. What's the wordcount of 'Into the Equation' then?
The actual word processor count is just over 8000 words. If you figure the count by the formula some magazines use it is about 9000 words.
Congratulations! See... it doesn't do to let the rejections bug you because there's always success loitering around to jump out and yell "Boo!". :)
