Hello LJ

I know I have been kind of quiet here lately. I'm still working, still writing, still involved in my various writing communities (lobo_luna, Minnesota Speculative Fiction Writers , the fine folks here on LJ), but I'm reassessing what I'm doing with my Live Journal, and until I figure out what it is I want this LJ to be, I might not be posting as much. I am, however, still reading LJ and responding to your posts.

I realized I forgot to post my stats from last month, so here they are.

Rejections: 3

Publications: 1
Crits Given: 65
Approx Word Count: 6229
Stories Circulating: 12

I'll probably stop doing this after the new year starts, since my focus is shifting away from short fiction and more toward novels.

And speaking of novels, I've pulled out Rija's Tale (aka the Not a Milk Maid of Destiny novel) and started working on it again. My love of writing this character is still strong, and I now have a better understanding of where this novel is headed.

2 acceptances in one month with just 12 stories out there is massive, and speaks volumes about the high quality of your work. Hats off to you, sir.

I know I don't comment much, but I do read your LJ ... I totally get what you are saying though. About a month ago, I finally started a "tech writing/professional" blog on wordpress (gets zero traffic at the moment, lol). Most everyone who reads my LJ probably has about zero interest in my techwriterly life.

Anyway, I like listening to what you have to say, and look forward to more!
