The unit worked fine, it just did not do as good a job as I would have expected. It pulled dirt and stains from the carpet, but did nothing to help with the odor in the craft room. Once the carpet is dry, I'm going to soak it in frebreeze.

Is it a pet induced odor?

Cause there is special steam cleaning soaps for pet issues. They work okay, but if has gotten down to the pad, you are out of luck.

Which is why all of my main floor carpeting will come out soon. Just as soon as the IRS returns my money so I can buy the new floor. Muahahahaha!
