Five Things Before I Start Running Around Crazy Again

1. Saw the doctor today. She's sure it's tension causing the chronic, persistent headache, but wants me to do a sleep study to rule out sleep apnea. Blood-sugar was fine, I'm not having a stroke, no suspected tumor, nothing like that (don't laugh, I have a family history of people with high-blood pressure, diabetes, heart problems, strokes, cancer and very short lifespans).

2. I've mostly finished the things I wanted to finish. I need to do a couple of loads of laundry and I need to run back to the bank and get some small bills for the D.C. trip next week.

3. To all my friends at World Fantasy Convention: Have fun. I expect to hear and read stories about the Con on my return from D.C.

4. To all my friends participating in this years NaNo: Good-luck to each of you!

For whatever reason, having a single digit number of stories circulating makes me twitchy. However, I am most pleased with the words for the month. I feel like that aspect of the work is back on track.

That's a good point, and I have developed some mild food allergies over the last couple of years.
