Oh Dear...

I feel a vampire novel brewing in my head. I blame [livejournal.com profile] kmarkhoover.

Sweet! I accept the blame with honors. I can't wait to read this! :D

I'm getting some guff about this over on FaceBook. Whatever.

Nothing wrong with that! I'm sure you can make it your own unique baby.

I'd like to bring vampires back to being nightmare inducing, horrific monsters.

I like the Lumley version myself, skeery and monstrous. Vampire fiction has always been a combination of both as far as the huge amount of fiction out there, and not all of the 'feeling' vampire fiction is bad. I guess I'm tired of this new opinion that Twilight represents all vampire fiction. It's like when Harry Potter first got big and inexperienced readers thought she invented the wizard.

Perhaps if I make you something with lots of garlic, it'll go away for awhile and let you do other things you want to finish up? Unless there aren't those things, in which case whatever.
