In all the holiday season and starting a new job chaos, I forgot to mention that a reprint of my short story "Nor to the Strong" has been selected by editor Bryan Thomas Schmidt to be included in Ray Gun Chronicles: Space Opera For A New Age, a collection of best of stories from Ray Gun Revival’s multi-year run combined with new stories from several major names in the SF field.

A Kickstarter will be running in January and February 2013 to help fund this project. It will be published November 2013 by Every Day Publishing with a launch at OryCon in Portland, Oregon. The editor and publisher have successfully ran Kickstarters for other projects, so I see no reason it won't work again. More information at the editor's blog.

“Nor to the Strong” is a science fiction story which appeared online in the April 2007 issue of Ray Gun Revival, in which a weary soldier must come to grips with the line between being a warrior and being a murderer. This story was nominated for the 2007 Preditors & Editors Readers Choice Award.
