She's right. I've been packing the house, working on buying the necessary insurance for the new place, finishing the work for my IDL class, and slipping in whatever writing I can manage.

Today has gone quickly and tonight we have a dinner with friends, and then tomorrow back to the work/house buying/packing frenzy!
Another nice thing about the place we are buying is that it is just a few yards from the #12 bus line, so I will have very easy access to the Lake Calhoun area, Uptown, and Downtown. This is good, because I'm planning to go back into the "real world" work force again for the first time in almost three years.
I'm going to start by looking for something in Freight Logistics, which involves working from a computer most of the time while shipping things around the world. I mean come on, I've arranged for fishing lure to reach Saudi Arabia, ATM's to land in Kenya, oil based paints to arrive in Peru, knives to go to Denmark, computer monitors to reach Mozambique, and a myriad of other items sent all over the world. I understand customs and security endorsements and international bills of lading and routing and how to get items across borders.
Once we are settled in the new place, I plan to start the next novel, though I still need to settle on whether or not it will be the supernatural romance novel or the Spear Longinus novel.
Wow, an update!
Peace,
Michael

It come with all the appliances, most of which are no more than a couple of years old. There is an outside patio with a privacy fence.

The only real negative is that it is surrounded by other townhouses. It is a bit of an ant hill of townhomes. That, and we have both the main wiater shut-off and the sewer trap for our set of buildings, so we may have maintanance people in and out more than we would otherwise.
Ther is also some minor repairs that need to be made, but nothing drastic or immediate.
