Publications and Scheduling

mmerriamI just received word that Three Crow Press will run "At the Edge of Twilight, Melissa Remembers Flight" in June of 2009.
I've been low energy the last couple of months as a writer. I've been working steady, but without the passion I usually feel. But, I think I'm about to turn a corner. I planned out the next two chapters of Rija's Tale and then wrote outlines for three pieces of short fiction, all of which I'm excited about. My plan is to finished the chapter of Rija's Tale I'm in the middle of (probably done today or tomorrow), then work on the shorter pieces while simultaneously working on the rewrites of Dark Water Blues.
It will be good to get back to working at full speed again. I've missed the excitement that comes with creating a new piece, even if the initial draft is crap (mine usually are).
