In light of the Minnesota State Government shutdown (because all the rich boys and girls on Capital Hill can't do their job and, you know, govern) and it being Canada Day, I think my icon says it all.

So, what do we the people need to do to get a State Constitutional Amendment on the ballot that stops the salary of state Reps, Senators, and the Governor in the event of a state government shutdown? Because I think most Minnesotans would vote for that. If they can't get The People's business done, then they don't need The People's money.
